How to Stop Losing Neon Drift Circuit Races on the Last Corner

I kept blowing races in Neon Drift Circuit on the final turn, watching a full boost bar go to waste. The problem wasn't my line — it was that I was braking with the throttle, which kills your drift charge right when you need it.

The fix is to feather the brake into the corner instead. Tap it lightly to tuck the nose in, keep the drift alive, and dump your boost on the exit straight. It felt unnatural for about ten races and then became automatic.

Also worth saying: the grippy assist mode isn't cheating, it's a different feel. I actually clock faster times with a touch of assist on the tighter tracks because I'm not fighting oversteer. Try both before you decide you're bad at the game.

Once cornering clicked, the whole thing turned from frustrating to genuinely fun. That drift-to-boost loop is the best part of the game and you only feel it when you stop over-braking.
