Lucky Coin is one of those games you don't expect to like as much as you do. You control a small spinning coin that you flick across short handcrafted stages, timing your taps to bounce off ledges and land on marked pads. The controls are as simple as it gets — a single tap to hop and a swipe to steer — but the levels start layering in moving platforms and narrow gaps that make you actually think about rhythm.

What kept us coming back was the pacing. Each level takes about a minute, so it never overstays its welcome, and there's a satisfying little chime when you thread a tricky jump. The art is bright and clean, and the different world themes keep the backgrounds from getting stale. We spent an evening just chasing better landings on stages we'd already cleared.

It's not a hard game and it doesn't try to be. Lucky Coin is comfort play — the thing you open while waiting for coffee. If you want something twitchy and demanding, look elsewhere, but for a gentle pick-up-and-go loop it's really well made.
