Pocket Playbook started as a group chat where a few friends kept comparing notes on the games we were grinding through on the bus. At some point we realised the notes were more useful than most of the guides we could find online, so we turned them into a proper site.,Everything here comes from actual play. Someone on the team installs a game, sinks real time into it, hits the same walls you do, and then writes the guide once they've figured a way through. We don't copy patch notes or rewrite press kits.,We pick games for a few reasons: they're genuinely popular, they have enough depth that a guide helps, or they're doing something clever that we want to point at. We try to cover a spread of genres so the site isn't just one type of player talking to themselves.,Nobody pays us to feature a title. When we like something we say so, and when a game frustrates us we say that too. That's the whole deal.
