Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a slow, atmospheric adventure where you explore an abandoned island by lantern light, solving environmental puzzles and piecing together what happened to the people who lived there. There's no combat — it's about noticing things.

The sound design carries a lot of the mood; wind, distant bells, and the creak of old wood make the place feel real. Puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, and the game trusts you to figure things out without a nagging hint arrow.

It took us around five hours to finish, and we didn't want it to end. If you like games that create a place and let you sit in it, this is an easy recommendation.
